Pros

Great medical benefits, competitive pay, 401k matching, consistent bonus program, and team members who love what they do. A lot of very intelligent people who are passionate about the industry. They have worked really hard especially over the last two years to promote equality in the workforce.

Cons

Leadership constantly challenges timelines when they don’t like an answer and wastes time to dig into data only to come to the same conclusion after a lot of chaos. They tend to bring in a lot of leadership from outside of Idaho which has a negative impact to those who work hard and want to be promoted from within. Takes two years to get the new leadership up to speed (Micron has so many processes and internal acronyms to learn) and they still don’t have the right knowledge to lead the teams.

Pros

Strong organizational growth – The company is continuously expanding, which creates exciting opportunities for career development and new challenges. Attractive RSU compensation – With the recent significant rise in stock price, the RSU (Restricted Stock Unit) package has become a highly rewarding part of the overall compensation.

Cons

Organizational silos – Each team or department tends to operate in its own silo, which can limit cross-functional collaboration and visibility into what other groups are working on. Overly strict internal security policies – While data security is important, the current policies can be excessively restrictive, making it difficult to share documents and resources even among colleagues working toward the same goals. This can slow down productivity and hinder efficient collaboration.
