Pros

If you have an appetite to build your career in semiconductors, micron is probably where you'd wanna be. Lots of new challenges and problems to solve on a daily basis. Skilled teams of sciencists provide a very rich environment to learn the physics of semiconductor devices fabrication and defect analysis.

Cons

Essentially overworking, you are expected to put in a lot of work as a new University graduate. In hindsight though, it's probably good for your own career development.

Pros

Decent pay, great stock grants and stock purchase plan. You can be at the forefront of memory technology driving today's AI megaboom, and benefit from the high demand (i.e. soaring stock price).

Cons

Little sense of community, lifeless office environment, dead-eyed and overworked employees. "Flexible work arrangements" in name only, as recent policy changes have significantly reduced effectiveness especially if you have a long commute or family life. Too much emphasis on unimportant buzz such as embracing diversity and inclusion is just annoying, but par for the course in today's big tech industry.
