Pros

Generally a positive workplace environment Seemed to be (trying to be) better You'll learn lot (because you'll be given responsibilities way outside of your core job role)

Cons

Micron rolls out the red carpet to get people to move to Boise, but once you're there they figure you either love it and are willing to put up with endless BS to stay, or you're leaving, so there is minimal effort to retain people. Before I left, month-after-month it seemed like there was a high-profile technical person who left, and there appeared to be no effort to reverse this trend. After I joined, colleagues told me that I was hired as part of a wave because a number of technical people all quit at once.
