Teacher salaries are high in comparison to other districts in the panhandle area, which helps to off-set the overall higger cost of living.

Cons

The inmates are running the asylum. Student behavior is atrocious and administration, both at the campus level and central office, doesn't back up the teachers. Staff development opportunities are poor especially when compared with Region 17 and 16.

They have started so many benefits this year for students. New CTE programs, pathways of study, UIL programs. A lot.
