The cons are: Job security and Salary and Benefits. I have also been very pleased with the quality of my colleagues. The building my lab is in is brand new and well designed.

Cons

The biggest adjustment coming from a larger institution is how long things take.

Employees like the parties and recognition gifts given at the end of the year This is a good environment for somebody who does not necessarily want to do a lot of work and sit at a computer just because they have to be there for their job

Managers who do not want to be questioned and maintain a status quo Managers who set up performance plans based on no data and no information to to set employees up for failure
