Pros

Midwestern University values their staff and rewards them with generous vacation and holiday pay. Beautiful campus and great facilities to work in. Many opportunities to educate students and staff in the value of mental health. Really appreciated the director of the counseling department who was supportive and a wonderful advocate for their counselors and students.

Cons

Counseling department needed a front desk adminstrative assistant.

Employees like the parties and recognition gifts given at the end of the year This is a good environment for somebody who does not necessarily want to do a lot of work and sit at a computer just because they have to be there for their job

Managers who do not want to be questioned and maintain a status quo Managers who set up performance plans based on no data and no information to to set employees up for failure
