Pros

Decent industry discounts, several opportunities to interact with vendors, and they award 10 cents per mile ridden during each pay period.

Cons

Store management seems really hit and miss. I worked at a shop that was a big miss. The sales associates also have no decision making abilities, so I felt rather useless in several scenarios because I had to "check the boss" first. Growth opportunities are limited and unappealing. Would I work for Mike's again? Never. Would I recommend a friend to work there? Nope. Would I buy a bike from them? Maybe, though I'd rather go with a smaller shop since they'd be much better with pricing incentives. However, Mike's service plan is a great deal.

Pros

Good list of brands to get EP deals on. Benefits are actually competitive for the bike industry.

Cons

Consistently hire for roles without posting the job internally, After being bought by PON the company has adopted many practices to stifle employees and limit growth to maximize profits at all costs. It feels like it’s being eaten from the inside out and will soon be a shell of what it once was.
