Pros

The calls are easy to make, the leads are genuinely hot, and you can easily schedule many appointments.

Cons

I feel genuinely bad for future employees stepping into a sales role at MileOne. After 15 years of experience in sales, I have never encountered a workplace this unprofessional. Even two weeks into the job, HR was still sending communications to my personal email instead of my corporate account—a glaring red flag from the start. Shockingly, new hires are asked to send sensitive information, like a Social Security card and ID, to their manager via text for onboarding verification. My first day? A chaotic meeting where both employees and management were yelling at each other, showing complete disregard for professionalism. This company wants you to function as a sales executive but fails to provide the basic tools to succeed. There’s no calendar in your email, no Microsoft Office access, and the CRM system is outdated and lacks customization compared to other industry-standard technologies. Training? It consists of poorly designed videos you’re expected to complete at home because the sales floor is so loud with blaring music that you can’t hear anything. And forget about them providing headphones or a designated quiet area to complete the training. This isn’t a sales role—it’s a glorified retail position. You’re expected to work two 12-hour shifts (9 AM to 9 PM) per week, and the end-of-month schedule is even worse. After comparing with other dealerships. it became clear this is not industry standard. Compensation, managerial support, and workplace culture are dismal. There are no one-on-one coaching sessions; instead, managers resort to shouting. I sold my first car just three days after starting, with zero training, and I’m still waiting for feedback from my head manager who only seems interested in boasting about himself and his experience. If you’re considering a sales role at MileOne, think twice. There are far better opportunities in the industry that respect their employees and set them up for success.
