Pros
+ Gave me the ability to work at a top tier high tech company like Facebook. + My assigned Service Delivery Managers were helpful, I was transparent with them (I had two over the course of my time with Facebook. They're like account managers who are onsite at Facebook). + Did a great job hustling, using their recruiting connects to get me an interview at Facebook very quickly, after the post in LinkedIn had been expired for me to apply online + Helped me see how shady their people and practices are + Helped me realize how unethical and disappointing the behavior was of those employed by Facebook (FTEs), and that I'm thankful I had enough sense to leave the company's toxicity. I can't work for or with people who I don't respect. + Good benefits (health insurance, 401k) + webinar trainings, like brown bag lunches (although the content usually was for really green people, and was too general and wasn't helpful for me so I stopped going after attending a couple of them)
Cons
I feel like they put on a show, made me think they had my best interests in mind. - Once hired, never heard a peep from my recruiter ever again, I was expecting at least a "Welcome, hope your first day went well. Let me know if you need anything, or you can contact XYZ, your assigned Service Delivery Manager". Nothing. (and this was after constant emails, phone calls and texts, and hearing from her up until the day before my 1st day of work, with her saying, "Sure, I'm on campus every week, let's grab lunch sometime!" She scored me as a new hire, so her job with me was done. Disappointed. - They tried to gyp me of my annual increase in pay, saying that I don't qualify since I was hired after Q3 in the year, however I fought for it saying that I was actually hired during Q3 so the increase did apply to me. - My Facebook boss inadvertently found out that instead of Milestone taking only 40% of the pay for my coworker (who also worked for Milestone), Milestone was actually taking 50% of the pay, meaning they lied to her. - When processing my exit prior to my end date, I found HR to be unprofessional and not fully competent (The HR rep had an incorrect office phone number in her email signature...we played phone tag for 2 or 3 days. Her cell phone voice mail greeting is of her young child of maybe 5 years old which would have been cute if it wasn't a phone number given out for work. When she finally answered the phone, she didn't answer the call with "Hello" or anything like that, she just started talking. I received an incorrect email about filling out info for Workers Comp, only to tell them that I was not doing any kind of Workers Comp and that anything like that was absolutely incorrect; only to receive another email asking for the same info maybe the week after. Lastly, they had an "administrative error" after having to explain making an incorrect direct deposit a week after my last day with their company then having to debit that back out of my bank account). And now that I'm really out of their hair, HR just happens to be non responsive to my emails (I never received a exit packet in the mail which the HR rep had said I need to sign and mail back.. which I need in order to get COBRA).
