Pros

The people of Milgard are great to work with! Seriously have yet to work with a person I don’t like at this company! Tons of opportunities for professional development. Becoming a better engineer not just in the Fenestration industry but overall is highly encouraged! Working remote is an option for most office employees. Management takes a very hands off approach. Gives out projects and let’s you complete them without super detailed oversight mostly just a focus on results!

Cons

Office is a bit archaic! But I understand that a renovation is in the works!

Pros

Personal office space, nice people.

Cons

Micromanagement, labor laws broken, plant supervisors say 'no girls' on lines like doors. Plant workers are over worked and under paid. 16 plus hours on Warehouse shifts. Plant and Warehouse workers are treated poorly by management. Nothing HR cares about. They do not care. If you express a complaint they will get rid of you. Constant add on tasks such as job fairs, outdoor signs, walk in interviews w no security, Holiday plant party shopping, plant decorating, new hire orientations every Monday. There is zero security. Very cheap and unfair merit increases. Annual bonuses taken away after Covid. Upper management get more lucrative raises, far greater holiday raffle prizes, trips to Cabo (to celebrate all the layoffs], SF Giants suites, etc.
