Pros
There's a lot of work in many different areas.
Cons
Most of all, the COVID-19 remote work situation really gives management an opportunity to find out who the real producers are and who the leeches are. And there are a lot of them. The ones who enjoy meetings, talk and talk, but don't do the work. They enjoy coffee breaks and bureaucracy but not actual labor. These people will be easy to spot in this remote era, they are used to talking and socializing but now they are required to actually reach out, initiate things, and make it happen. This is more assertive than just socializing and talking and then claiming they are building relationships. Management, please look for this. Also, the organization needs a wake-up-moment on what jobs are worth these days. Paid Time Off is not as "generous" as what they think internally. Benefits are on the stingy side of things when comparing to other companies in the same category and location.
