Pros
-good salary, unique projects -able to "disconnect" when the workday is over, little to no need to work overtime -bonuses based on billable hours, however, please reference the con below -decent health insurance -fully remote
Cons
-no training or communication as to expectations on assignments and subsequent Monday-morning-quarterbacking and micromanagement. Requests for assistance are deemed as "inefficient" and there are severe delays in management responses *if* anyone responds to your request. Advised to sit idle until a response is received. -logging billable hours, again with Monday-morning-quarterbacking as to how long assignments *should have* taken, management has the final say on this -no consistency on workload -15 days of PTO which must be *earned* in order to use them -Having to put corporate expenses (plane tickets, hotels, meals, etc.) on personal credit cards and waiting over a month to be reimbursed -takes many years (5-6) to be fully vested
