Pros
-Exposure to a wide variety of projects in a short period of time -Ability to develop both technical and non technical skills -Potential to make more money
Cons
-You don't have much of a life outside of work if you want to be successful -Colleagues will compete with you for projects and stab you in the back in pursuit of their own ambitions -People are often not willing to give you time for learning etc. unless it is billable -Hard to study for exams as client work always takes priority and principals usually don't say no to those who are writing the checks -The compensation and benefits appear good on the surface, but in reality are not too generous when you factor in the workload, deadlines, etc. -Only worth it if you're a principal IMO as you can make a lot of money
