Pros

MB&A is an exceptional environment for leaders who value autonomy and accountability. At the leadership, you’re trusted to lead—not micromanaged or boxed into a rigid role. There is real freedom to shape your portfolio, influence project strategy, and build a career path aligned with your strengths and interests rather than a predefined ladder. Leadership operates with a high degree of trust and transparency. Leaders are empowered to make decisions, innovate, and bring forward new ideas—whether related to client delivery, internal operations, or firm growth. You’re treated as a partner in the business, not just a delivery lead. The firm supports entrepreneurial thinking while maintaining a strong sense of collaboration and shared purpose. There’s flexibility in how you manage your time, your teams, and your professional development, which makes it possible to balance performance with sustainability. MB&A genuinely values outcomes over optics.

Cons

With autonomy comes responsibility and sometimes unmet expectations. This isn't an environment for those who want to work in silos, are uncomfortable with navigating ambiguity, or believe a deep hierarchy structure is best. True autonomy is not for everyone.

-Fully remote flexibility with a strong emphasis on work-life balance -Clear opportunities for growth, development, and internal advancement -Supportive and collaborative team culture with respectful communication -Meaningful, mission-driven work that encourages innovation and ownership

Cons

-PTO policy could be more generous, especially for long-tenured employees -Health benefits can be a little costly for employees with dependents -As a small company, some systems and processes are still evolving — not necessarily a con, but worth noting for those who prefer more structure
