Pros
Miltenyi and Lentigen are playing an important role in the advancement of biomedical research within cell and gene therapy. We are on the forefront of helping influence and advance cell therapies, which can have a great impact on helping cure cancer. It’s a very rewarding feeling to be part of something much larger than myself (helping save lives). Everyone is genuinely excited about the work they do. I work with great team members who really care about the mission and help support each other. The work can be stressful and challenging but it’s exciting to work on new projects and accomplish goals within such an accomplished team. The pay/benefits are competitive (depending on role/position), company has a good work/life balance, the 401K program is second to none (they provide a yearly % match that is very generous).
Cons
On the flip side of the coin. The company is growing, which is great but it can also present some growing pains. At times it can be frustrating because things move very quickly and communication from leadership is not always clear and concise. At times getting things accomplished becomes a political challenge (it’s more about who you know). Germany and North America have different styles and methodologies of working through issues and do not always see eye to eye, which can present its own set of challenges.
