Pros

The 9/80 work schedule, allowing every other Friday off, can be seen as a perk, but the long workdays make it a double-edged sword. Coworkers are very patient and kind people who, even when overloaded with stress and worry, care for one another.

Cons

Lack of Leadership: Senior leadership, including the CEO, is largely absent and disconnected from the workforce. It’s disheartening to see upper management, including the CEO, working remotely while employees are expected to be in the office, regardless of their job's nature. Ethical Concerns: There are serious ethical concerns, including efforts to manipulate online reviews and rumors of questionable financial practices. This creates an uncomfortable and untrustworthy working environment. Poor Financial Management: The company hasn't secured a significant contract in years and is only staying afloat through financial support from the parent company. This has led to multiple layoffs in the last 5 years, bringing the number of employees from 400+ in multiple offices across the country to around 70+ people in 2 offices in Alabama. Rumors of layoffs still persist, and recent over-hiring in preparation for a contract the company was never awarded has worsened the situation. Toxic Work Environment: Employee morale is at an all-time low. Every department is understaffed, and the overwhelming stress is evident in the grumpy attitudes and general discontent among workers. Turnover is running rampant and those who have joined the team in the last few years find new jobs pretty quickly and move on. Management’s solution to these issues seems nonexistent. Subpar Work Conditions: The physical office environment is in disrepair, with mold, filthy carpet, rarely cleaned floors, counters, and bathrooms, water-stained ceiling tiles, and basic structural issues. This reflects a larger issue of neglect throughout the company. Lack of Professional Development: There is no support for continued education or skill development. Employees are not allowed to attend classes, industry conferences, or trade shows, which severely limits opportunities for growth and networking. This lack of investment in employee development makes it hard to stay current in our fields and hampers long-term career advancement. Declining Benefits: The benefits package has worsened significantly, with employees now paying double or even triple for health coverage compared to previous years. This, coupled with already low salaries, makes it difficult to feel valued as an employee.

Pros

An interim CEO named in January 2026 is bringing new ideas, but the culture is toxic.

Cons

There are no new products in the pipeline that are designed by the company. Products being produced now are end of life. Revenue is down. The leadership needs to be replaced, they lack accountability for any of their actions.
