Pros
There are TONS too many to list
Cons
Naysayers. We need to find a way to turn the naysayers into believers that truly believe in the future of our company. We need to find a way to help them understand and embrace change of our continuously growing organization. If they are unable to do that, we need to help them find the courage to move on. The reason why is because negativity impacts the vibe of our culture and poor attitudes result in low productivity. We have plenty of positive people that work here but the negative ones are mighty, and it only takes one bad apple to spoil the bunch. Human beings can only listen to so much negativity before taking on the darkness themselves, especially if they sit right next to it. And some of the negative naysayers deliberately pull others into their web. Frankly it is exhausting. It would be glorious if they were capable of finding the courage to adapt or have the courage to find themselves something new. It can feel defeating as a co-worker because you can’t make them. Our company doesn’t fit into a perfect box nor should it be expected to. It is a living, breathing, and growing organization that exists in the high-pressure world of technology where the weak get left behind and the strong have to dig in and fight to survive every day. There is no easy route and there is no clear path to perfection. We need grit, work ethic, and positivity within our ranks. That is how we move forward and get better.
