Pros
- Great benefits - Wellness card - Most direct peers are genuinely nice and fun to work with - Truly enjoyed being in wellness industry Pretty lax culture and HQ has nice campus. Most of the people are lovely and extremely nice. Got great experience from when it was super small 6 years ago, so stayed because of the career opp to continue growing experience.
Cons
- Not a lot of respectable leaders in management - Individual praise gets turned into group praise to protect feelings - Issues aren't taken seriously by HR or management Marketing team grew big and disconnected. Lots of stakeholders or program managers would give feedback that was more opinion but no one was making sure it had proof or reasoning behind it. Creative leadership when I left was at its worst. Leader who didn't really care about the team and hid behind everyone else's talents to mask the fact that they contributed nothing. Would blame the wrong people when things went wrong. Instead of recognizing the people who went above and beyond, everyone had to walk on eggshells to make sure everyone got the same amount of praise and recognition. You could work really hard or come in and do the bare minimum and it would all be to the same result. Lots of empty promises of career growth.
