Pros
I enjoyed working with many of the positive, kind, health-focused people there! People really care about doing great work and about their clients.
Cons
Culture comes from the top-the CEO has a very, “white guy goes to India once and now wears prayer beads” vibe, literally an official training module was to match business values to chakras on a body. You also don’t qualify for health insurance until working a full calendar month- meaning up to nearly two months. Strange for a wellness brand. They also conducted layoffs of 700 people by sending a single mass email and disconnecting those people’s accounts in the middle of the night. The CEO wanted it done that way, was the word, and the reason he gave in the email was that it “would have taken too long” to have even smaller team managers inform people in person. Team managers were asked not to speak to or reach out to those laid off for days. Consider this culture aspect when considering working here- good sides, but some real worrying lack of empathy.
