Pros
The benefits at Mindbody were super generous including healthcare and a wellness fund to spend every month. Almost every person I interacted with was humble and helpful which is a value of the business that really gets from the top to the bottom.
Cons
The product can be challenging to sell. Unlike some tech companies the business yu're selling to can't add Mindbody to their tech stack, they need to replace one with another. So especially at the enterprise end of things you're battling against that change management piece as well. And that can be hard to win when the competing software is out pacing MBO in development. Additionally, I worked for a very difficult manager. I don't believe this is standard across the organisation but my experience was that because our office was away from the US HQ, my boss lacked direction and a clear plan and that trickled down resulting in confusion and misdirection.
