Pros

-Great Health Benefits, stock options, 401 K -Some of the people that work there are truly amazing, have some great friendships -On Site Massages with Mateo -Good product to sell -Moving the sales meeting time has been a lot better -New Training looks a lot better than when I started where it was non existent -Onsite Classes are so small because everyone is grinding to meet goals that sometimes its almost a one on one experience with a yoga teacher for free -It definitely hones your phone and office skills, great resume builder

Cons

-MicroManaging, counting phone calls, constantly being compared to others in emails sent out daily - The pay is not good, especially compared to the hours you are required to give. Some people stay til 8 pm at night to try and hit their numbers -You are only a number to everyone -No work life balance, we were told that while we were home "relaxing with a glass of wine that we should also be prospecting." -Meetings where Management says "We can fire you at any time. It says so in the contract you signed with us". There is obviously no Job Security, which can be stressful. - Continuous contradictions (ie. sell this, no wait don't), and pricing and salary changes. All in all it is a very young company that acts its age - Sketchy and shady reps in a shark tank - Not enough communication between departments, especially Biz Dev when it comes to third party integrations and their timelines and conversations - Angry Stressed Managers, conversations such as "why would you take a lunch break when we have no sales for today, I would rethink that" have actually happened - Drinking at the office. While that has slowed down considerably, there were many times where people were scared to leave the office as some of their co-workers were drunk - Thinking that we are the same as SLO headquarters. We are more expensive to live in, people are constantly trying to go remote for that reason. We are also in a seasonal town, so it is very hard to get anything done in the summer. -Getting docked PTO for going to the doctors office. It is going to take triple the amount of time to get there and back during these summer months and we are supposed to be about wellness. -The CVA process is horrible and time consuming. The original way of doing it was easier. When we ask for help we are told to just click around until you figure it out. Not helpful. - Owners of the company seem really concerned with bigger picture elements and are very out of touch with the team.

Thank you for your review and feedback. I'm glad to hear that you are enjoying working alongside your team! We are proud of the benefits that we provide to all of our team members as we continue ahead in continued care of our valued employees. Sales is certainly a competitive and result driven environment that yields high rewards as for performance. I can assure you that our compensation director and sales leadership have put in a lot of time & effort to ensure that our pay structure is competitive, and in line with the market. Our sales team is at the frontline of growth for the company, and we certainly want to reward the hard work that our sales team members put in. With that being said, there are high standards and expectations (that we hold all our team members to), and this certainly is the case in sales. I also understand that there are natural differences between the EH and SLO offices, and we are continuing to seek out and make improvements for our NY offices. We appreciate your feedback!

Pros

During my time at Mindbody, I was fortunate to work in an incredibly supportive team environment. The team was collaborative, fostering a positive and productive atmosphere where everyone’s ideas were valued. My managers played a key role in creating this supportive culture. They were not only approachable and encouraging, but also inspiring leaders who gave me the freedom to take initiative and grow within my role. One of the most rewarding aspects of my experience was the creative freedom I was given. I had the opportunity to explore new ideas and approach challenges in innovative ways, which made the work both exciting and fulfilling. This level of trust and autonomy helped me build my confidence, expand my skills, and develop as a professional. Additionally, the work culture at Mindbody emphasized collaboration, making it easy to share ideas and tackle problems togethe

Cons

While my experience at Mindbody was largely positive, there were a few challenges I encountered. One significant issue was the constant turnover in leadership. This frequent change in management created a sense of instability, as new leaders would often come in with different priorities and approaches. As a result, it sometimes felt like no one was on the same page, leading to a lack of direction and clarity. This inconsistency caused a fair amount of disorganization within the company, making it difficult to align on goals and strategies. The shifting leadership dynamics created some challenges in maintaining a consistent workflow and made it harder to build long-term plans. Despite the supportive team environment, this lack of continuity in leadership was a noticeable drawback.
