Pros

- Self starter environment - Flexible - PTO, sick leave, personal days - comfortable office environment - the work is rewarding - the best Health Insurance I've seen, I can go direct to specialist, 20 dollar copay, 50 for ER. 500 deductible for anything major. Other companies I've seen deductible of 2,000 and more, a great deal of the cost is paid by employer. - Everyone here is great to work with, positive and cheerful, and always willing to lend a hand. - CEO is always here, early, he stays late, he cares about this company's success and all of the people working here. One could say those things about any Employer. What makes Mindmatrix stand out? Mindmatrix is on the cusp of exponential growth, having tripped in size over the last 2 years the growth is expected to continue. The work you do today, with this company will have a lasting impact for years to come. Mindmatrix truly has a product and offering unlike anything else in the market place, a company willing to go the extra mile for not only customers but employees. Professionally speaking, you will get exposure to many different sizes of companies, exposure into their marketing, content, company infrastructure the amount that you can learn about the world and different companies is astounding, both nationally and internationally. Practical advice to others: Marketing: You will go from Constant contact, Social Media cookie cutter Marketer, to the next level in your career.

Cons

Hours are 9-6 and I am conflicted, most companies do 8-5 - leaving more time after work. However 8-5 is higher traffic, and working until 6 increases West-coast. If you live South of the City you will have a rough commute (if you live south of the city you already know that)

Pros

Culture - This company easily forged camaraderie and friendship among the team. There were office gatherings, parties and many team members loved to eat lunch together. Management - CEO and Supervisors genuinely have your best interest in mind always and that is priceless and hard to find in an employer. The manager is hands off, does not micromanage, but is also very quick to speak from the heart, recognize hard work and accomplishments and ensure their door is open for venting, for conversations and for help. The management is also flexible and understanding in a time of need. You can feel comfortable expressing your needs and troubles to management or colleagues. Work Life Balance - They do not expect you to work overtime or on weekends. Colleagues always offer help to ensure team members get a lunch break and are able to leave on time even on a busy day. Social outings are encouraged. Role - The role offers room for personal growth. The management team often offers opportunities for travel or other responsibilities to grow your skill set and challenge and improve you.

Cons

Management - At times there is confusion in process due to small company and department sizes but these are easily discussed and resolved. Benefits - Benefits are reasonable/standard but could be improved. Office hours and PTO are strict but not unreasonable. Work life balance is valued and no overtime is expected. Work- Life balance - I only marked a 4 since the PTO isn't exceptional.

Pros

-Great team of people to work with, every single person I worked with on a daily basis truly cared about the customer and their success -CEO is committed to being a leader in the market space - As a mid sized private company, they invest significantly in marketing, events, analyst relationships -Competitive sales salary and commission plan -The Mindmatrix solution is not only the best value in their market but in my opinion the best overall solution for one platform for the channel Unlike some reviews on here, I never experienced customers being lied to or treated poorly. In fact quite the opposite to where the CEO wants to make sure all customers are happy. The product does change often (but certainly not everyday) which is expected with SaaS and a company that is growing quickly and competitively. With that, more career opportunities should open up across different areas of the company. I have to say that although my time here was just about a year, the CEO treated me very well. He went above and beyond anything I have experienced when leaving a company. That is truly appreciated.

Cons

The only things I would say are a 401K, better internal communication (a collaboration tool) and more formal training as sales people onboard. However, my understanding from friends who are still there is that all 3 of these have been heard by leadership and in process to be vastly improved (including a 401K program).
