Pros

My experience at Miniluxe was largely positive. I got along well with my coworkers and have nothing but good things to say about the people in management. Management, especially, really went out of their way to make sure everyone was happy and satisfied in their current roll. It was refreshing to see so much genuine care coming from the people I was working for. For example, when I needed to completely change my availability at the last minute when one of my kids fell ill, my manager didn’t give me any crap for it. She sympathized with me and I could tell she genuinely felt sorry for the situation I was in. I don’t know how much of a headache it was for her to accommodate me, but she never made me feel like my job was in jeopardy for it or that it would be held against me later. I really appreciated that. So yeah, I’ll give Miniluxe 5 stars no problem. I ended up moving to a different city where they didn’t have a location. Otherwise I would have happily stayed within the Miniluxe family for at least a few more years.

Cons

My biggest gripe is that they don’t have a location in my new city. Other than that I don’t really think I was there long enough to have much to complain about. I’m sure employees who have been with Miniluxe for years can speak better on the minutia of what can be improved.

Pros

I love the girls! I worked with them for years and the team really makes the environment special. Clients are particular but it is expected in this industry and I have also met great people along the way over the years!

Cons

HQ is all over the place and out of touch. District leader is not sensible to the team and cares for numbers only. I've been pushed to days I just break down from pressure working alone in the front on busy peak days and still being micromanaged. Upon expressing concerns, the attitude was that of "I get not everyone is like me who can handle it." Corporate supports that too and it shows by their disregard to not address this. The company is not as they portray. It is not women led and unfortunately, it has become hostile.
