Pros
One of the biggest advantages to working at MAC was that they were actually very flexible. Within one month of working there I was able to get a few weeks off to visit my family over Christmas break. And then after working there only half a year I was able to get a month and a half off to do an internship in another state. When I tell them my availability, they respect it. I have yet to take advantage of it because I'm under my parents insurance, but it seems like they offer pretty good insurance benefits as well. You also get paid time off accumulated over time.
Cons
They did a pretty poor job with the training, mainly because they were understaffed when I was hired (I think some people had just quit). Also, it's very difficult to go somewhere in this company without being fully committed to it. I don't plan on working in this field for a career, and so I feel kind of stuck. I'll probably switch jobs soon.
