Pros

Helping kids is always a plus.

Cons

Was hired on at a certain salary and position. Noticed higher ups and lateral employees leaving at a fast pace, then others were being let go. It was a sinking ship. After a little over a year passed and I was told I was being switched to a different position for less pay. Not demoted, but "reassigned". That was fine by me. After watching children being treated as billable hours and not children with individual special needs, I was ready for the change this forced me to make. Outta that blood sucking environment.

Pros

Training into the job and connections with clients

Cons

Very mentally exhausting, difficult to juggle multiple tasks when you need your client within a hands reach, favoritism from management, and of course low pay
