Pros

It is good, short term, entry level position for someone with little office or medical experience. Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance after 90 days.

Cons

There is very little support from corporate for employees in local offices, along with a very passive aggressive attitude towards certain employees. Low hourly pay for FOAs, with the potential of a one dollar raise annually. The company has the feel of a MLM scheme, with questionable morals and ethics. The FOA's bonuses depend solely on the HCP's monthly sales. Those working in slower stores or with less motivated HPCs, will rarely see a bonus. Any down time was expected to be used cold calling any and all missed sales from the past.

Pros

Great support from all levels of management. Invested in your development and career path. You get to change people lives everyday. Restore communication to those who have hearing loss. Compensated for hard work and success. Benefits and 401k program

Cons

Owned by Amplifon based in Italy. Upper mobility seems limited for those in US. But they are striving to make more opportunities for those in US.

Pros

We are encouraged to maintain relationships with clients, we have birthday gifts for clients/patient and management can help remotely sometimes, Our IT is actually Gold tier. PTO if approved.

Cons

Do not add the Teams to your personal phone or it will never stop even at night. Pay isn't worth the workload, no real support HCP's are told their only job is to test and fit and everything under the sun falls on the OM. Incoming patients(cleanings, repairs, troubleshooting & walk-in), maintaining charts physical and digital, updating info, trying to get google reviews, getting donations, updating intake forms, uploading documents, ordering every supply needed (snack, cleaning supplies & aids), tracking orders & repairs, CRM calls, any call for that matter, any mail that goes out, cleaning devices and office, in addition to billing/invoicing, ALL fall to the office manger. My HCP told me several times it wasnt her job to help me. Again for the work load itself they arent hiring enough people to complete the job. Im forever weeks behind on paperwork because its too much to do alone. With no empathy just more checklist. And never-ending changes to every process from start to finish nothing has stayed the same in any way since I started.
