Pros
I worked for Miracle Ear fresh out of college as a patient care coordinator. (They do not require a college degree). My consultant was amazing, as well as my trainers. The people I worked with I go to know very well and became very close with. There was always time to catch up on work that needed to be done. The hours were good. The resources from other PCCs and my trainers were amazing, we truly were our own little team!
Cons
I think PCCs as a whole should get paid more. The amount of rude clients was hard to deal with at times. Clients that would respect my consultant would treat me like I was stupid. There is no room for growth whatsoever in this company unless you want to become a consultant. The open houses for lack of betters words, were insane and at times borderline unethical. It was hard to sit there watch the clients wait for over two hours to be seen. Though a pro of this position is having time to catch up on everything, on slow appointment days it felt like I was just sitting there waiting for the phone to ring. I think this is a great job for somebody that wants to get involved in the business admin world career wise, but I would not recommend staying long term.
