Pros

Fellow coworkers are nice. The products are interesting. The market trend for Mirion is going up. Nuclear industry growth in the future with SMRs.

Cons

Low pay for detector production workers and techs. The company does not promote people the way all other companies do. Most companies promote based on yearly reviews and performance, but it appears this company only promotes if you try to leave, or complain to the right people. Management literally has no idea what your background is, what work you do, or how much, and they don't seem to really care. The company typically hires new people externally than promote internally. New employees getting paid more than ones that have been here for years. Very high turn over rate. Rude management. Bonus system has been reduced. They used to have farewell retirement parties and promotion parties for employees in celebration, they don't even bother sending emails out about either anymore in Detectors. Management keeps rushing detectors out the door, constantly skipping several parts of the testing QA, and ignoring clear signs of failure to meet quotas. People that get hired leave relatively quickly.

French company so they have to give you good benefits and PTO. Interesting work and chill environment

Cons

Bit of a boy's club and you'll be stuck with random men from a labor corp

Pros

- Small but talented group of engineers - Rewarding field (assisting in cancer diagnosis)

Cons

- CEO has a $5m TC package while the employees creating the products are on government assistance - Company constantly violates HIPAA and instructs employees to lie to customers about downtime/security vulnerabilities to avoid voiding our contracts. Literal criminals - Zero growth opportunities. I received several title changes which meant nothing more than added work for zero pay while CEO Tom Logan and his sidekick Sheila Webb get regular bonuses/promotions - You're surrounded by people who know so little about technology or software in general that it's genuinely comical - Quite literally the lowest compensation in the state for the position, extremely low for national average as well
