Pros
- every Thursday there's a farmers market for staff, where they can bring home fresh produce for free - pay is decent
Cons
I had no real instruction or orientation when working the packing line. The leads with red hair nets rarely helped and would completely ignore me and others who would need help. Several times I'd walk up to them, waiting for a moment to ask for help, and they wouldn't even try to listen to me and turn around and walk away, as if they didn't see me, they were very unapproachable. As a new person, I didn't always know how long breaks were, I just had to learn to follow the crowd. Following the crowd, was the philosophy I had to follow for a lot of things, because no one had time to properly orient me to production processes.
