Horrible leadership - Anonymous employee Misfits Market Employee Review

This is the worst leadership I've ever seen at a company. They don't care about employees whatsoever. They don't listen (they say they do), but they never change things no matter how many complaints are put forward. They omit questions from the all-hands meetings, lower tier employees are kept in the dark about everything from financial information to decisions taken regarding positions and pay (managers and directors don't even know what is going on to be able to relay important to direct reports) until AFTER the impact has already happened. Leadership answers questions with "I don't know, I don't have those answers yet, we're trying to figure it out" but then ask you to keep asking questions when they clearly never have/or want to give answers. Nobody in this company is happy, not acquired IF employees, not current and legacy MM employees. 2 rounds of layoffs in the midst of key projects and migrations leave tension and more work for those left behind all at the same time that they announce that several employees will have bonuses cut/reduced. Lay off half the company and cut the pay for several of those left behind when they have even more work to do because of the layoffs! CEO encourages and promotes a hustle culture of getting things done as quickly as possible without much thought behind it. Once projects are complete, tools and systems don't function properly, data is broken, there is no one to manage the completed project, but we got it done faster than 90% of other companies! This company only cares about making a profit. There is no mission, there are no morals, just money making. Leadership needs to learn transparency and communication, however, the best thing for this company at this point would be a complete reset of leadership.
