Pros
The only 3 pros I can think of with this place is: 1) A paycheck 2)Working alone and getting to listen to music/podcasts all day 3) Free food
Cons
(Wish I could have left 0 stars) This company absolutely hates paying for labor. They hate giving people the proper pay they deserve. They are so cheap they don't even have a manager or HR onsite to assist with any immediate needs of employees. They are extremely anti-union. They decreased driver pay and now have customers tips making up part of driver wages. "Drivers keep 100% of their tips", actually the tips get pooled with other drivers and split up, taxed as part of wages on their paychecks. Micro-managing through dashcams in the vans. General management communication done through telegram. No company phone provided, forcing you to use your own data while utilizing 5 yeah FIVE different apps. Insignificant amount of yearly vacation time, retaliatory behavior from management for calling out sick. Multiple documented lawsuits for unfair labor practices. Laid off mass amounts of "human capital" (words of upper management) with zero notice. Overall, not a good place to work. Extremely hostile/toxic work environment with a history of bad and scathing reviews which can be viewed here, reddit and the BBB website. I would not recommend working for this green washed, profit driven, human hating corporate entity. Don't waste your time here like I did. *Queue seemingly automated glassdoor response from Misfits Market that goes something to the tune of: "We appreciate all your feedback and are working continuously to ensure that Misfits Market is a safe and fun place for all to work and feel like they are valued as an employee all while fighting food waste and blah blah blah" I hope this company fails and goes bankrupt sooner than later. Support your local CSA or Farmers Market, shop local and don't give your money to this greedy busines.
