      work Monday , Tuesday , Wednesday 12 hour shifts, team player, hours, understanding supervisor, good co workers , pay is decent, float and learn other units if desired

      Not a lot of negative thoughts at the moment , I am a team player , I understand that its a job and rules are to be followed

      Pros

      Full time hours, possible Overtime, I am on a great team, and the people there are really supportive and friendly . They welcomed the new comer with open arms and never once felt like a burden. I

      Short staffed, Not as consistent with some of the processes but they are working on it

      Pros

      Great nurses, resilient community, many leadership growth opportunities, large hospital with many specialties, the only level 1 trauma center in WNC.

      Cons

      The hours are very challenging. often 5am to 6pm M-F. No additional compensation for extra hours, nights, or on-call weekends. You must love the work, and have minimal need for work-life balance to enjoy working here.
