Thank you for your hard work and care for your patients and our community while at Mission for 22 years. I suspect your work touched and made a difference to a tremendous number of people. Agree, healthcare is a rapidly changing, fast paced environment. I am sorry that your exit was not a positive experience, and you did not feel heard. Is there feedback you would like to share? If so, please send to talentacquisition@msj.org and we can follow up on any concerns or feedback you may have. Thanks again for your dedication and committment to patients for over 2 decades!

Pros

Great nurses, resilient community, many leadership growth opportunities, large hospital with many specialties, the only level 1 trauma center in WNC.

Cons

The hours are very challenging. often 5am to 6pm M-F. No additional compensation for extra hours, nights, or on-call weekends. You must love the work, and have minimal need for work-life balance to enjoy working here.
