      Steady work.l Nice coworkers (most of whom has all left) Friendly physicians

      Cons

      Terrible Management Unrealistic expectations COVID safety measures were basically non existent for months. The gas station down the street had patricians before our location did. Owned by HCA now (a for profit in hospital system) Used to be a great place to work when hospital was a non profit Low pay Lacking benefits

      Full time hours, possible Overtime, I am on a great team, and the people there are really supportive and friendly . They welcomed the new comer with open arms and never once felt like a burden. I

      Pros

      Great nurses, resilient community, many leadership growth opportunities, large hospital with many specialties, the only level 1 trauma center in WNC.

      Cons

      The hours are very challenging. often 5am to 6pm M-F. No additional compensation for extra hours, nights, or on-call weekends. You must love the work, and have minimal need for work-life balance to enjoy working here.
