      Pros

      Wonderful care plans in place to provide evidence based practice in CCU. Staff driven teams to make changes on unit. Great teamwork! Enough staff provided to give expected care to pts. Supported by management. Love my CCU family.

      Cons

      My previous employer we had 3 pts (critical), no CNA's, and no support. Unable to provide even basic care needs most of the time. Working at Mission is a breath of fresh air in comparison. I leave work feeling like my patients got the best care, and I was provided the support I needed to make that happen.

      Pros

      Full time hours, possible Overtime, I am on a great team, and the people there are really supportive and friendly . They welcomed the new comer with open arms and never once felt like a burden. I

      Short staffed, Not as consistent with some of the processes but they are working on it

      Pros

      Great nurses, resilient community, many leadership growth opportunities, large hospital with many specialties, the only level 1 trauma center in WNC.

      Cons

      The hours are very challenging. often 5am to 6pm M-F. No additional compensation for extra hours, nights, or on-call weekends. You must love the work, and have minimal need for work-life balance to enjoy working here.
