Pros
Some truly great co-workers and employees are top notch. But thats about it.
Cons
Where to start. Nobody in leadership provides any vision which leaves you in the wind in crafting your vision. In one breath leadership will say “this,” but in another they say “that.” The company had 2 unexpected layoffs last year and the company has struggled since. Morale is low - hampered by the RIFs last year, loss of CEO this year, and nobody at the front line has had a merit or a cost of living increase. My biggest gripe is that so many of the companies leaders come from Capital One and as such, their thinking exists in a vacuum. It’s like they want to emulate Capital One and become Capital Two, but lack the funds, the vision, or the desire to take true risks that will propel the company forward. Finally - there’s no desire to develop other products. The Fintech game is different now than it was 567 years ago, there are ton of companies and they’re all offering credit cards. There’s no development of new groundbreaking products.
