Thanks for the review, and thanks for recommending Mitratech! I really appreciate the comments about our culture; it’s something that a lot of us are very proud of, and we don’t at all take what we have for granted.
Regarding the comment about advancement opportunities, it's true that as a company of a several hundred people, we don't necessarily have the step-by-step career paths, or the number of open opportunities, that you might find in a company of several thousand. In my experience, the people who have been most successful in developing their careers at Mitratech have tended to take ownership (one of our core values) over their careers, and have been open to moving in ways or working on skills that might not always seem linear or obvious. We’re big believers in hiring from within, and in giving people the opportunity to leverage their skills in new ways, or on different teams, where an infusion of experience from another department helps to spread knowledge and make the company more collaborative and open. We also try to support employees with training and development opportunities, whether that’s through specific skills development, presentation coaching, our mentoring program, or other ways. And with all that said, we can always get better.
Thanks for sharing your experience.
