Pros

401K Insurance Benefits Ability to work from home (when needed) Working with the suppliers and customers

Cons

The high management team promotes people who have no real direct experience in almost every department. Then those same managers who were just promoted do the same exact thing by promoting people (some of which is a direct conflict of interest) into mid management that have no experience in the role or department. The company doesn’t provide training what so ever and mid management doesn’t care to learn or understand their role none the less the roles and responsibilities of their subordinates. The company says they believe in work life balance, however this is entirely untrue. Some departments are so under staffed that there isn’t enough time in the day to get the job done. Meanwhile other departments are over staffed and don’t have enough work to go around. The company lays off those who actually know their roles and responsibilities but if you don’t fit in the “boys club” mentality then they are already planning on how to let you go. Complaints about management or others aren’t well received or vetted. Because their are so many conflicts of interest between upper management and mid level management they don’t make you feel safe to complain thus giving you the feeling like you should just swallow whatever is being dished out even if it is degrading and disrespectful. HR doesn’t get involved enough when complaints are made. PMs try to learn and have a better understanding of who’s role and responsibility is what and mid management gives wrong advice because they are incapable or unwilling in learning the proper procedures and workflow from engineering all the way to field staff.
