Pros
I loved the people I worked with, and we had a good bond. I also loved the free giveaways after shoot days since the company couldn't sell or donate any of the food afterward.
Cons
I was a designer, I loved to be creative. However, with my assignments, I was very limited in how much I could weave in anything creative outside of the usual rigid layouts. Management never checked in or let me try other things, it was just constantly turning these out. Not to mention I felt like I was constantly forgotten, and never had a proper annual review on my 1 year to discuss any plans. No encouragement. The only time I got encouragement? When they decided I would be doing training for Quality Control, which involved taking the last bit of creativity out of my day and nothing but working through a spreadsheet. It didn't even feel like I could say no because there was nothing else for them to assign me to. Everyone else got new projects and new training for other creative projects, and I got called in last for this after they hyped it up to be "something exciting."
