Pros

The opportunity to learn emergency medicine in a prehospital setting, challenging yourself and your partner to think quick in an emergent setting. Building relationships with hospital employees, law enforcement and fire/rescue across the state.

Cons

The new policies are awful. A couple of years ago MMR was noted to be reliable, trusting, and one of the ambulance services everyone hoped would be the one to take care of their loved ones. In recent months/a year it has become the laughing stock of EMS. It appears they care more about social media “likes” and making “tik tok” videos….many of which are inappropriate and even noted to be recorded while driving, than utilizing the time for preparation, education, and rest when in between calls. Posting photos of “crews sitting down at a restaurant to eat after a long distance transfer” when they are short ambulances for coverage? The con here? It is said administration encourages these videos and posts…what happened to safety and professionalism? It was once honorable to say you work at MMR, now it is shameful and embarrassing. Support of partners and staff Is not what it once was.

Pros

One of the better private EMS companies to work for as far as pay and equipment goes.

Cons

Not particularly felt valued for the amount of work done. Very centered on profits yet not taking basic steps to cut costs.
