Pros
Solid team environment. The company is setup in teams (as usual) dev, marketing, customer support, sales etc.. and each team has its own unique personality. Teams are pretty tight with each other and the atmosphere is pretty fun. Interested in investing in employees and growth. The company is into promoting internally. They look for people who are showing signs of growth and try and facilitate that. Pretty good benefits. They do 401K match, some work from home capability, pretty decent vacation package. Fairly seasoned management team. Sales organization hires young, aggressive people and then they teach them and promote them into senior roles, development group is constantly growing and very little turnover, COO is a solid leader who has a background that suits the entereprenurial aspects of the company and runs the day to day and the CEO is pretty encouraging. Company seems to be growing pretty well and adding new customers. Announcements are sent out each time there is a new customer.
Cons
They have some management issues for some of the "younger" management team members learning how to motivate their people and let people do their thing but they seem to be working on that. "Startup" environment comes with some of the standard stresses that you see during times when there is a big push or a customer that requires something from them. Given the relatively small nature of the company there can be stresses placed on individuals and performance is expected and demanded to be at a high level. Sometimes the days can get long. Budgets are a bit tight so the purse strings are tight as well.
