Pros
Modern Animal is, without a doubt, the most welcoming place I've ever worked, in or out of the veterinary industry. I never felt I needed to "prove myself" as is usual for new employees in other clinics. Feedback from employees is taken to heart and thoughtfully considered. Management does a good job in recognizing individuals and teams for a job well done on a regular basis. As a small business Modern Animal is able to enact changes quickly when needed. Everyone, from the CEO to the doctors and technicians, to the kennel attendant deal with change positively, and are always willing to learn and grow.
Cons
This is more like feedback than a true con. Even though Modern Animal can enact changes much more quickly than larger corporate clinics, from time to time changes can happen too quickly, without warning to staff or even too slowly, leaving the staff wondering when a promised change will happen. If you deal with change in a positive manner as an individual, this would not, nor should not be a deal breaker.
