Pros

My interview process went great! After reaching out to the clinical support staff recruiter, Trista, on LinkedIn, I got my first interview a few days later. She gave me a good sense of the organizational culture, thorough description of my potential role, and immediately set me up for the next step. The second interview also went well. Michael and Erika were super nice and asked me some situational questions to get to know me better. I was given ample opportunity to ask my own questions as well. After about a week and a half, I received an good offer contingent on successful background and drug screening. Onboarding went okay. The company is continually evolving and definitely feels like a startup. However, all staff and management are super helpful and supportive in helping you succeed in this company and your career goals alike. With the company growing, there seem to be more and more opportunities for growth.

Cons

Steep learning curve with new process implementation/improvements

Pros

I think the compensation is decent, with average hourly rate and medical insurance. Free and automatic Modern Animal membership which gives you discounts on product and services.

Cons

What you see on the outside, isn’t what it actually is on the inside! You see friendly faces and accommodating staff, assistants, and vets, but in truth, the workplace is hostile with demanding seniors and management! We are overworked, stressed, and we basically just drag ourselves to work because we signed a contract. But as soon as the contract’s done in six months or a year, most would end it there and leave! Though a few still tries and give it a chance, or maybe they have more patience and endurance than others, but they would still end up leaving after the next contract expires! No one makes it permanent here. It’s just unbearable. The animals could maybe absorb all the negativity, but dealing with everything and everyone here is exhausting!
