Pros
Good benefits and good pay, but that's where is starts and ends
Cons
As other reviews have pointed out, Moderna is a pretty toxic place in general, but that doesn't even begin to describe it in my experience. Combine toxic with disorganization, chaos, microaggression, and no work-life balance - that's the Brand team. The chaos starts with zero strategy behind their hiring. They don't know what they need, who they need, or what skills are needed - just an abstract idea of what capabilities would be good to have on the team. I had people with absolutely no idea of what my job entails or requires interview/evaluate me - in retrospect, that should've been a red flag. Of course when they don't know what they need, they also don't know what technology and resources a particular role needs. I had an ongoing battle to get even the basic resources to do my job. There is no support system in place - your manager isn't there to help you set/manage expectations, establish yourself, or grow. Your manager is instead there to keep the other managers in the team happy, at any cost, so they can return the favor. Since the other managers on the team either have unrealistic expectations, don't know what they're looking for, or consider collaboration as optional (or in most cases, all the above) , the cost more often than not is your mental health. Needed a long break and countless therapy sessions to remind myself that it's not me, and my experience is just a reflection of how broken and bad the team is.
