Like others have stated, be warned if you want to work here. This is not a friendly place for working parents, despite HR and leadership stating it is. The expectations around being available to work have no bounds. The 70% in office requirement is strictly tracked (badge in and out) regardless of if it makes sense to go into the office or not. Me and several of my coworkers work with globally dispersed teams and have meetings at 6 or 7 AM and are still expected to go into the office. Even if everyone we work with is in a different country. Please explain this to me? For a company that literally became successful during the pandemic and with everyone working remotely, this policy makes zero sense to me. There’s no flexibility and pragmatism regarding individual situations. As others have stated, we are chaos. There is no internal strategy or prioritization of what we work on. Literally the CEO says we’re going to open a facility somewhere and the rest of the company has to scramble to figure out how to make it happen. Zero due diligence is done before decisions are made. I can’t even imagine how much time and energy is wasted by really smart people doing stuff that shouldn’t be done and possibly even doing stuff that other groups are also doing in parallel. Another concern is the amount of external contractors we seem to hire to do everything. Why wouldn’t we internalize good people with institutional knowledge and experience and save money at the same time?
