One con speaks for everything: Narcissism. When you look up classic narcissism or speak to someone with a mental health background and share what is going on in the company, that is what you come up with. Narcissism exists from the top on down to senior leaders who are the only ones left standing after all the cuts and layoffs. The good people are cut or will leave to find better opportunities where their expertise and experience is valued, and will be treated with respect.
The company has made a vast mistake of over hiring, many of whom have no relevant experience. They are now scrambling to get their baseline down to a number that matches this year's forecast. As a result most of the people who signed on in the past year will be let go. Many of my colleagues were fired since the beginning of the year.
The company works you to the bone. There is zero work/life balance. The Mindsets they continually use to drive their toxic culture literally sounds like the mottos of a religious cult.
My advice for anyone seeking employment here is that you are better off not being employed than working here. Even if you are lucky to get a good supervisor, and there are good supervisors in the company, it doesn't matter because they will most likely be working for a narcissist like I am. Research what it is like to work for a narcissist. All the advice from professional mental healthcare workers, including my own, are to do everything possible to find another job; even if it means a pay cut, because no job is worth putting your health at risk.
