Pros
The individuals who have a good work ethic work very hard. The staff in other departments (nursing, transportation, dietary, environmental) are rather pleasant. I cannot speak for any other location than the inpatient pharmacy.
Cons
The management at Moffitt has created an environment toxic to be around. They do not listen to suggestions from the staff actually doing the daily activities, which in turn make for more tiresome work daily. You leave everyday feeling defeated and tired. There is no teamwork that occurs in the inpatient pharmacy. It is a dictator run department and if you have a voice and want to make things improve you are blacklisted and monitored under a microscope from drinking water to how long you use the restroom in an effort to terminate. The technicians in the department don't typically last more than a year at the inpatient pharmacy and those select few who have managed longer than a year are clearly dead inside. Upper management has no care for the lower man on pole. Everyone is replaceable in current management's eyes it seems.
