Pros

Feels good to help patients who desperately need it.

Cons

-Retention is non-existent. Seemingly everyone wants to get into the CRO so desperately, but once they’re in they are not supported at all. It is common for CRCs to run multiple trials with barely any training, tons of patients and cry out for help, only to be unanswered by direct management and upper management. It’s hilarious because MCC prides itself on its research, but does absolutely nothing to ensure it’s conducted well by happy and competent employees that aren’t going to walk out within their first 6 months. Patients comment on how they’ve been juggled between multiple CRCs all the time and it stresses them out. Sadly, lack of retention is a universal problem across all of MCC. I.e: it’s a cultural problem, not department specific. -The pay is a joke. The CTO doesn’t even pretend to care about this even when badgered at the meetings about pay.
