Pros
Excellent mid-sized company with great products for drug discovery and related 'industries', great market penetration, great customers. MolDev is a Danaher OpCo, and both promote associate engagement and associate professional development. I love the people at Molecular Devices and love seeing all the moving parts from product development, to manufacturing, to sales and marketing, to service etc. I like the companies rebranding (marketing) in 2015. This has been one of my favorite companies to work in. Sunnyvale site is very orderly, clean and organized - this is inspiring. Fairly good PTO and vacation and benefits. Great people. Company works on interesting problems. President has ambitious growth goals.
Cons
Attention to process (Danaher Business Systems) can sometimes be mind numbing. In certain areas company seems understaffed - often hard to see how to get the necessary work done. Often one find knowledge and skill gaps due to people have left the company. Company often seems to gouge the customers - anything for the bottom line.
