Pros

Good Pay Benefits Ability to schedule your work Great / helpful co-workers Great mission and vision Growing company in a growth industry

Cons

Based out of the MIami location and have met various employees from around the country. Seems that the Miami location and management are a different breed. There is a lack of managerial know-how that exists and it is apparent that people are either trying to keep their jobs or trying desperately to move up at the expense of other people. The treatment of non-Hispanics is blatantly biased to the point of being malicious and condesending. It has become apparent that if you are non-Hispanic in the Miami office (white, black, asian, indian) you will not have an opportunity to further your career with the organization. Futher, they are literally building the plane as they are flying it, so there are changes everyday leading to an absolute absence of consistency as it relates to day-to-day operations. And nothing is written down. Everything is word-of-mouth and left to the whims of the supervisor or manager. And the supervisors have NO SAY SO ABOUT ANYTHING. They are paid puppets who are not allowed to make decisions without the direct input of their manager. Though the company continues to grow, they are not able to handle the growth. And, let's face it, this organization is not building widgets. They are in the business of managing the healthcare of others; and not at all very sympathetically. It's all numbers and documentation.

Pros

Meaningful work, supportive coworkers, good benefits, professional growth opportunities, member-focused culture.

Cons

As with any healthcare organization, workloads can be busy during peak periods, but the experience gained is valuable.

Pros

The on boarding, orientation, initial training, compensation,401k, employee stock program, benefits, perks, the gym, and prior to the Pandemic the professional growth workshops. They offer merit increases and bonuses.

Cons

Cross training can be peer to peer and for short time, yet you are held accountable to master it and audited even if you had little training or experience. There are culture and values along with"no retaliation and no harassment" policies, however there is also no one to take your concerns to that is non-biased. No one to handle the work place bullies or hold management accountable(HR?conflict resolution?) They let the repeated problem people carry on for too long. They do sneaky lay-offs. The internal job posting seems good except, if you apply and you meet all the qualifications your manager or others can block you! They will let you apply to several positions, maybe even on your team or department and will not let you transition or go to another position. Management will not even tell you the reason they need you on the team and won't let you get hired on another team.
